The mission of The Center for Abuse and Rape Emergencies, Inc. is to help survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes in Charlotte County, Florida.
We Have A Goal!
The goal of C.A.R.E. is to create safety in our community by helping survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes, and to promote non-violent relationships by education and example.
In addition, C.A.R.E. recognizes that the violence perpetrated against victims is grounded in an abuse of power by an offender and reinforced through intimidation and coercion, and endorses efforts which hold offenders accountable.
