Volunteers Welcome
Volunteers are an essential part of CARE, assisting victims of crimes, preventing crime by promoting safe relationships, and in fund-raising endeavors.
C.A.R.E. provides specialized initial and ongoing training for volunteers who answer the Crisis Hotline and work directly with victims, in shelter, hospital or justice centered settings.
Volunteer opportunities that provide indirect service yet do not involve as much training include pet "foster care," and assisting at community events. Call 941-639-5499 for more information.
Volunteers are always needed at C.A.R.E. ReUse Stores in Englewood and Port Charlotte.
